Integration of velocity with Python 64 bit.

If we have 64 bit system, we need to use only 64 bit version right else we face compatibility issues. Do you have any plans to upgrade code to 64 bit version?

Even in a 64 Bit system, you can easily use any 32 Bit software or programming language. As a matter of fact, the system of most of our team is 64 bit while we run many 32 bit applications including Python 3.x.

We do not feel the need to move to 64 bit for this as there is almost no difference for the end user.

I will be in office during market hours and will I be able to get streaming data in Python? Can I test this once.

Can you please share the sample python code? Is there any video tutorial or any document which explains how to use python with velocity.

The sample python code is provided along with the External Client installation. There are also sample COM & C#.NET applications, along with their sample code.

If you are interested in this, please install the correct version of the installer (x86 / x64) for the same. Contact our support team for help if required.

Also, we now have fully compatibility with 64 bit. You need to ensure that your programming environment is either fully 64 bit or 32 bit.
