Equity Historical data download

• This error happens when the symbol is not available in the master files.
• We have also found that the lists we have created for you from the NSEINDIA.com do not match our own list because there are symbols other than EQ also. We will correct this soon, so that the lists are correct.
• The best way to check that the symbol in question is part of the Master symbol list is to check it in the masters itself. The method to check this is :-

1. Open >> C:\Program Files\TrueData\TrueData Velocity\1.NMaster1.txt (For all symbols. For Continuos futures open 1.NMaster2.txt)
2. Search for the symbol (Ctrl + F)
3. If symbol is not provided then it must be removed from your list.
4. If you need the correct symbol list, please use the list generated in the symbol guide. This symbol guide is updated once every month on the day after expiry >>https://www.truedata.in/downloads/Symbols.for.TrueData.Velocity.xls
5. Use the equity stocks in this list
6. We will update the other lists also which are downloaded in to the support folders in the future to avoid such errors.

BTW, we can see from the NSE site that ATNINTER is not traded.

Ya but it exists in list provided by you which I imported,and it is not found in 1.NMaster1.txt

Yes, you are right. We will correct the other lists.

In the meantime, request you to kindly make lists currently only from the following file only >>https://www.truedata.in/downloads/Symbols.for.TrueData.Velocity.xls

or directly from the masters > 1.NMaster1.txt & 1.NMaster2.txt

> The masters are updated daily at 08:40 - 08:42

> The xls file however, is updated on the first trading day after expiry.

Check attached file I copied all symbols from 1.NMaster1.txt ,and tried to down load tick data for last 10 day but still no success . Not getting all data

I have cross-checked all your symbols to be correct as per the symbol list.

Please let me know where you are getting stuck.

Check attached file ,all the symbols are taken from 1.NMaster1.txt ,yesterday there was no freeze but all data were not downloaded like tick data of many symbols and for many days etc.but strangely today it got freeze at NCOPPER which is available in 1.NMaster1.txt as well as in my symbol list.

check this list if you are able to import all data for last 10 days (all EOD,IEOD and tick data of every symbol )?

This symbol list issue is totally solved with Velocity 2.0 as you can search for the desired symbols in velocity 2.0 itself instead of going to the master files.
