Chat transcript

Thank you for the idea !

We have specifically avoided doing this, because everybody does not want to clutter there inbox especially because some visitors :-

• Talk to us more than one time a day
• Some times start the chat but don't end up chatting
• Need to pass a tiny message, a very small clarification or message

However, you can always obtain the transcript whenever you wish. These are the ways:-

• Whenever you need the chat transcript, click on the envelope on the top next to the rating thumbs. The chat transcript would be automatically mailed to you, once the chat is finished. The email id would be entered only the first time and from the next time onward you would also not be required to enter your email id. You will just need to click the envelope on top and the chat transcript would be mailed to you once the chat is finished.
• If you have missed clicking on the transcript, we will send it to you if you send us a request.

However we are willing to send chat transcripts to everyone after every chat you have had if we get enough votes for the same. If we get more than 20 votes here for this idea, we will start sending chat transcripts automatically to all emails also, along with the current system of requesting the same.
