Bringing Open Interest in Ninja Trader 8

Ninjatrader support has created an indicator which pulls Open Interest data from the CFTC website and plots it on the chart https://ninjatrader.com/support/forum/showpost.php?p=523107&postcount=2 . I have imported this indicator on NT8 and it gets the OI on my chart too but only the Open Interest from the commodity website! Would it be possible for you to create a similar indicator which can connect and download open interest from your database? It will be a great help to all NT users.

We have worked on this after consulting with and as per the instructions from NinjaTrader. However, the same is still not supported by Ninjatrader, properly. There is no indicator for the same yet and also the OI data cannot be saved in NinjaTrader8. I guess we need to wait till NinjaTrader can streamline this at their end.

Also, all the indicators mentioned in this thread need to keep changing with every update of NinjaTrader8.

That said we are in the know for this requirement and shall have this implemented as soon as Ninja enables it properly ar their end.

The same is still not supported by NinjaTrader, properly. They need to enable it before we can add it in for you.
