How does TrueData calculate number of symbols? While SBIN and ICICIBANK are two unique symbols. What about Options? Are BANKNIFTY_20210408_34000_C and BANKNIFTY_20210408_34000_P calculated as two unique symbols?

Yes, each option symbol is an independent symbol. Each option symbol has all data fields like any other.
